
Angel Di Maria Reportedly Expresses Regret Regarding Manchester United Move
Angel di Maria has fallen on hard times after a fast start with Manchester United, and his recent struggles may have him questioning whether joining the Red Devils was a smart move.
According to Ben Grounds of Metro, Spanish journalist Manuel Esteban revealed on La Goleada that a source close to di Maria discussed the Argentinian star's second thoughts.
"Di Maria has confessed to someone at Real Madrid that he regrets joining Manchester United," Esteban said.

While it can certainly be argued that di Maria hasn't been a perfect fit at Old Trafford since coming over from Real Madrid, calling his stint a flop wouldn't exactly be accurate either.

There is no denying the fact that di Maria is a supremely talented player, but his style of play hasn't meshed perfectly with his United teammates, and he hasn't always been put in ideal positions to succeed by manager Louis van Gaal either.
Perhaps di Maria is longing to return to Spain, but he has a chance to become a true football icon if he can settle in and lead a club like Manchester United to greatness.
