Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel reported on Gordon's status after injuring the ankle:
Gordon's 2014-15 campaign has already been shortened due to a foot fracture that required surgery. Limited to just 25 games entering Wednesday's action, the raw 19-year-old is only scratching the surface of his potential.
Another high draft selection will be coming Orlando's way in 2015, but Gordon has a long way to go in living up to his billing as the No. 4 overall pick.
The best move for the Magic is to bring Gordon back slowly if this ankle sprain is at all of the severe variety as a means to look out for his long-term health.
