Ashley Cole Reveals Why He Declined Inclusion in Arsenal's 'Invincibles' Book

Roma's Ashley Cole will forever be linked with Arsenal's 2003-04 campaign in which the Gunners went through an entire Premier League campaign undefeated. 

The event is one of if not the most celebrated moments in the club's illustrious history.

Cole celebrates winning the league at White Hart Lane in 2004.

But Cole's role and legacy with the north London side will forever be tainted in Arsenal fans' eyes by his controversial big-money move to London rivals Chelsea

The Englishman finally addressed his non-inclusion in the book that celebrated the season released last October on Twitter, saying that he declined interviews because he thought Arsenal fans wouldn't appreciate his being in it. 

Regardless of the abuse he's received, he still seems to have fond memories of his Highbury days. 

Surprisingly, the responses were fairly tame in Cole's direction.
