Ted Ginn Cut by Cardinals: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction
Since being drafted No. 9 overall by the Miami Dolphins in the 2007 NFL draft, Ted Ginn has played with four different teams and has generally made a name for himself as a kick returner, not as a receiving threat. His time with the fourth team, the Arizona Cardinals, has come to an end, however, as he was cut Monday.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ginn finished with just 14 receptions for 190 yards in 2014. He did return a punt for a touchdown, however, and he now has seven return touchdowns in his career, so it wouldn't be surprising if he surfaced with another team as a return specialist.
Darin Gantt of Pro Football Talk thinks Ginn should return to the Carolina Panthers, where he played quite well in 2013:
Ginn finished the 2013 season with 36 receptions for 556 yards and five touchdowns.
For the Cardinals, however, he was a luxury since players like Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu are both capable of returning punts, and the team should be able to replace Ginn on kickoffs without too much difficulty.
Ginn will be 30 when the season starts, so teams likely won't be knocking down his door to sign him. But for a player who has proven he is capable of returning kicks and was an important part of Carolina's offense in 2013, there should be interest in his services on the market.
