Johnny Oduya is dealing with an upper-body injury and will be out for a couple of weeks as he recovers.

Oduya Out for A "Couple of Weeks"

Joel Quenneville updated Oduya's condition, saying he will miss a couple of weeks, via Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago.


Oduya Suffers Injury vs. Boston

Sunday, Feb. 22

Quenneville revealed after his team's loss to the Boston Bruins on Sunday that defenseman Johnny Oduya suffered an upper-body injury. As a result, Oduya could be absent for Chicago's next few games, per Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune.    

According to ESPNChicago.com's Scott Powers, the origin of the injury is unknown at this time. Oduya came on for a shift in the first period, and once he left the ice, he never returned.

The 33-year-old has accumulated five points (two goals, three assists) through 60 games this year.
