Just two days into the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Calvin Johnson comparisons are on the table and the globe is overreacting to the size of a quarterback's hands.
It's the path to the draft, folks.
The duel between Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston is the headline act at Lucas Oil Stadium, the funniest part about it being all the two have done so far is have their measurements recorded.

Breaking Down Busy Weekend in Indianapolis
Saturday (RB, QB, WR)

When running backs, quarterbacks and wideouts take the field Saturday, eyes will gravitate toward the natural names.
Running back will look anything but a dying position.
Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon, who ran for 2,587 yards and 29 touchdowns last year, weighed in at a comfortable slot, as captured by CBS Sports' Dane Brugler:
Nebraska's Ameer Abdullah comes in at 5'9" and 205 pounds, heavier than most figured he would be, too, so scouts will keep a keen eye out Saturday to see if his speed takes a hit. Miami's Duke Johnson came in at around the same measurements, per Rotoworld's Josh Norris, and is a contender to sneak into the early second round.
The top name at wideout who will grab the most attention Saturday is the prospect now compared to Calvin Johnson—Oklahoma's Dorial Green-Beckham.
DGB is the most physically gifted receiver in the 2015 class, a notion that has never been debatable. Thursday's measurement sessions reaffirmed this, per Chase Goodbread of NFL.com, who notes that DGB measures in at 6'5" and 237 pounds, one pound heavier than Megatron.
Of course, the negatives counteract the positives, as DGB's extensive off-field issues are the subject of much scrutiny in Indianapolis, as CollegeFootball 24/7 captures:
Within, as Goodbread records, DGB explains how a transfer and year away from football changes things for him:
"About that, I proved that I'm a better person by how mature I've grown. These last few months have been real tough for me. Missing a whole season, missing playing with my teammates, and just missing football period. Just looking from the outside in, and seeing things I've never seen before, I just want to take advantage of that. And make sure I will be there for all my teammates and make sure I'm still going to be the best guy I can be off the field.
"
Obviously, scouts want to see DGB in action, as well as see how he handles playing for the first time in a year.
Above all else, though, the focus will be on the quarterbacks. Mariota and Winston are already at war thanks to the result of the weigh-ins, as NFL on ESPN illustrates:
Saturday, the two go head-to-head in a controlled environment with everything potentially on the line.
Don't miss out.
Sunday (LB, DL)
To be blunt, Sunday is simply not as appealing as Saturday.
Defense does not grab all of the headlines, but freak athletes who can line up with their hands in the dirt on the edge or interior as well as drop back and play linebacker will be all the rage.
The battle for top pass-rusher is up in the air, too. This is a title that at one point most gave to Randy Gregory and moved on to other things, but as of late, Florida's Dante Fowler Jr., Clemson's Vic Beasley and Missouri's Shane Ray have entered the fray.
Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune captures the thoughts of NFL Network's Mike Mayock in a helpful comparison:
The depth of the versatile pass-rushing class can be overwhelming. Don't forget about Kentucky's Alvin Dupree or UCLA's Owamagbe Odighizuwa, who made quite a name for himself at this year's Senior Bowl.
Things are just as convoluted on the interior.
Leonard Williams out of USC is arguably the best interior prospect to enter the draft since Ndamukong Suh. He's the surefire first tackle off the board, but a few others are not far behind, as Bleacher Report's Matt Miller helps to explain:
Washington's Danny Shelton figures not to be a bad consolation prize, nor does Malcom Brown, who continues to climb the stock ladder after a strong showing at the Senior Bowl.
There are other names who could surprise and make the leap, too, as Florida State's Eddie Goldman is explosive enough to excel in all areas. Iowa's Carl Davis is on a quick rise, too, and one strong combine showing away from earning first-round stock.
It's an exciting time for folks who prefer the defensive side of things, to say the least.
