According to The Dallas Morning News, Seguin's teammates helped him off the ice.
Stars head coach Lindy Ruff talked about the hit that knocked the center out of the game, according to ESPN.com:
"It's a dirty shot. You end up taking your best player out. Not only out of the game, but he's taken him out of the lineup for a little bit. We'll let the league deal with it ... It's just a shot that didn't need to happen.
"
Seguin's importance to the Stars can't be understated. He entered Friday night third in the NHL in goals (29) and points (59).
