Return Of The WWE Grand Slam?

Outside the USA, the US title isnt really regarded as well as it would inside the US, its hard to have a US champion and barrack for that championship when you live in Australia or other countries, I have also read this in other forums.

However this is a US company, so its totally up to the company owners to decide what to do with their championships.

I also have read that it isnt held in the same esteem as the IC title.

From my understanding the US title is classified as a secondary title, however if you win the main title, ie. the WHC/WWE and tag title as well as the US title, you havent won a Triple Crown, yet if the US title was subsitituted fior the IC title—you would.

Doesn’t make sense if it is considered a secondary title...which made me think.

Years ago Mr Perfect and the Genious smashed up the WWF title, and it made me think, here is a story.

A heel from either Canada or Europe wins the US title and degrades it, they get the title and destroy it. A week later they come out and announce themselves as the new European Champion (the reason I choose this belt is because it used to be below the IC title, none too similar to the US title is now in a way).

The EC is now re-activated giving a new lot a storylines and possibly a dozen or so Superstars the chance to go from Triple Crown to Grand Slam champions.

While we are reactiviating titles, and if ECW does grow, this would be an awesome place for the Hardcore Championship. Merge the Womans/Diva titles and reactivate the Crusierweight title and then…I get my wishes!!!
