Bray Wyatt Is Perfect WrestleMania 31 Opponent for The Undertaker
For the last several weeks, WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt has been cutting subliminal promos that could be teasing a possible WrestleMania 31 match against The Undertaker.
The chance that a feud of this magnitude between Wyatt and The Undertaker could come to fruition should have hardcore and casual wrestling fans jumping for joy at the possibilities it spawns.
One of the reasons the WWE Universe has come to love Wyatt so much is his supernatural gimmick, as well as the entertaining storylines that have come from it. While his booking has been far from perfect at times, he knows how to sell the character in every situation.

On the other hand, The Undertaker has the most successful gimmick of all time. He has taken the idea of this undead character and has become one of the most memorable wrestlers in the history of the business.
Together, a storyline between the supernatural stars would result in a build that should be littered with memorable promos and moments.
To square off against a star the caliber of The Undertaker, a Superstar must be red-hot, and Wyatt has never looked stronger. After beating fan favorite Daniel Bryan before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, he went on to eliminate six people and last an impressive 46 minutes, 59 seconds in the Battle Royal.
In the ring, Wyatt is a classic bruiser who has a brutal style that can work against almost any wrestler. As one of the top heels in the company, his pace is slower and more methodical, but that’s how the best bad guys in history have worked their matches.
Add in the fact that he is one of the best in the business at cutting promos, and Wyatt would be able to do much of the heavy lifting in this feud. With a sinister speech pattern and a charismatic style, Wyatt has been able to impact the entire WWE Universe, love him or hate him.
Wyatt better be ready to dictate the pace of the match and run the show in the ring, because The Undertaker will be 50 years old at WrestleMania 31. He is nowhere near the worker he was a decade ago. Instead of putting his body on the line, though, he has learned to tell better stories in the ring and avoid too many dangerous spots.
What makes this matchup so perfect for the WWE is that Wyatt is a safe worker. He has no prior history of hurting his opponents, and his brutal style is controlled and far less dangerous than that of Brock Lesnar. With The Undertaker in a more fragile stage at his advanced age, a bout with a low-risk factor is what the company should be banking on for the future.
The motive for The Undertaker's return should be redemption. He was destroyed by Lesnar last year and had his streak broken. Not only will he be looking to prove he can still win on the biggest of stages, but he will also try to get back some of the aura he lost with the blemish on his WrestleMania record.
Wyatt can afford to take the loss at his age, but the rub he would receive from standing across the ring from a legend like The Undertaker would ensure that the result would be almost entirely forgotten. Win or lose, for the 27-year-old, it would be a major achievement just to step foot in the ring with The Deadman.
The hope now is that The Undertaker is victorious at WrestleMania and makes it clear he is looking to fight Sting the following year at WrestleMania 32. Beating Wyatt would make The Undertaker look strong once again and would set the stage for the build to an even bigger match.
After seeing Wyatt take the loss to John Cena at last year’s WrestleMania, the only justifiable way to let him be defeated again would be to allow The Undertaker to steal the win. If Wyatt loses to The Undertaker, he can still manage to look like the winner in the long run.
Being one of The Undertaker’s last opponents will ensure Wyatt goes down in history.
