Super Bowl Performers 2015: List of National Anthem, Halftime Show Entertainment
Although most people watch the Super Bowl for the game itself, there is plenty of excitement for the music lovers as well.
The Super Bowl halftime show is one of the biggest live performances of the calendar year. Anyone who steps on the stage is performing in front of thousands at the stadium and millions watching at home, following in the footsteps of Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones, Beyonce and more.
Meanwhile, the national anthem is just as much of a pressure-filled moment, because the same amount of people are watching, but at that point, people just want the game to start after what seems like a lifetime of pregame shows.

Performances
National Anthem: Idina Menzel

Idina Menzel is most accomplished for her performances on the Broadway circuit, although she became a household name for voicing the part of Elsa in Frozen. No matter what type of music you listen to, you have undoubtedly heard Menzel singing "Let it Go" no less than 100 times.
Despite the honors she has already received to this point, Menzel said that performing the national anthem at the Super Bowl will be her biggest moment.
"It's the pinnacle. It's the milestone in my career," the New York native recently said, via Newsday.
Her upbringing will actually impact her cheering preferences during the game, as quoted by Darren Rovell of ESPN:
While most people will just be able to enjoy the performance, others have to use this opportunity for another chance to gamble. One popular prop bet before the start of the game is the official length of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
As Dave Richard of CBS Sports noted, it will be a close one:
According to Odds Shark, you can also bet on whether Menzel will miss a word during the national anthem, with bettors getting 4-1 odds for any mistake. It seems wrong to wish ill on others in this fashion, but I guess you have to take money where you can.
Halftime Show: Katy Perry

After an extended run of classic rock performers like Bruce Springsteen and The Who, we have now seen a run of more contemporary artists with popular singers like Beyonce and Bruno Mars.
Katy Perry is next in line, with an attempt to entertain the teenage girls who openly love her music and the adult males who are afraid to admit how catchy her songs are. Yes, you know you have sung "Firework" when no one was watching.
With a deep catalog of hits, Perry will have a wide variety of songs to perform to keep everyone watching entertained.
For those who don't want to watch the female star, Lenny Kravitz will also be joining her on stage. And XXL Magazine reports Missy Elliott will be a "surprise" guest:
Interestingly, Katy Perry will also be rooting for the Seahawks in the game itself:
With both singers rooting against the Patriots, Tom Brady might be under more pressure than he even realized going into Sunday.
