Parsons Battles Illness

Carlisle announced before the game that the 26-year-old small forward is suffering from an illness, per Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com:
Although Parsons had a somewhat rocky start to his Dallas Mavericks career, he's since established himself as a key member for Dallas. He's third on the team in scoring (15.6 points per game) and the team leader in made three-pointers a game (2.1).
Parsons shouldn't miss a ton of time, which is important for the Mavericks. They're seventh in the Western Conference entering Friday's play but sit just 5.5 games ahead of the ninth-place New Orleans Pelicans and 6.5 games ahead of the 10th-place Oklahoma City Thunder.
As long as Parsons makes a quick return to the court, Dallas shouldn't miss him too much.
