Olivia Munn Says She Had No Idea Who Aaron Rodgers Was When They First Met

Despite having been together for less than a year, Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers have already weathered their share of unique circumstances.

First there was the hands-free Bluetooth kiss, followed by Packers fans wanting Munn drawn and quartered in front of the Children’s Museum for "ruining" Rodgers and, of course, the unveiling of the couple’s game-day booty armistice.

This is to say, Rodgers and his actress girlfriend have shared a strange road for an as yet young couple—a road with beginnings that remained a mystery until Munn’s Tuesday night appearance on Conan.

When asked about her first time meeting Rodgers, Munn claimed she had no idea who he was.

“I had no idea,” Munn said. “When I met him, I said, ‘So what do you do?’ And he’s like, 'Oh, I play football.’ And I go ‘Cool! What college?’ And he’s like ‘Oh, no. I play professionally.’ And I go, ‘Cool. What position?’ And he’s like ‘Quarterback.’”

Munn said all she knew about Rodgers was that he was a tall, attractive man.

“That was kind of it,” Munn said. “Not knowing that he was like, you know, a Super Bowl MVP or any of those things. All I saw was that he was like, really attractive. I didn’t really care what he did…I was like, ‘You are such a big man!”

Indeed, Rodgers is a (somewhat) big and famous man, but for any relationship to work, it can’t be solely based on star power. It's about first impressions that lead to dates, and dates that lead to no-handed trust-fall kisses.

See? Love isn’t about cash and fame, guys. It’s about interlacing your fingers, finding your soul’s counterpart in another and leaning in for four seconds of closed-mouth heaven.
