Plumlee on Suns' Trading Block

Sunday, Jan. 18

As a result, the Suns are working the phones to try to move Plumlee, per ESPN.com's Marc Stein:

Plumlee has played in 42 games this year, averaging 4.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and a block a night. His playing time has dwindled, though, as of late, not coincidentally after Wright arrived from the Boston Celtics.

When the trade happened, Paul Coro of AZCentral.com noted that Plumlee was most under threat to see his minutes decrease following the trade:

He received just three minutes of action in Phoenix's 107-100 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers this past Tuesday. Then, in the Suns' next game—a 110-99 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday—he appeared for nine minutes.

Plumlee averaged 20.7 minutes a night prior to the Wright trade.
