WWE's Top Tweets, Instagram Photos and Viral Videos for Week of January 12

Paul Heyman and Randy Savage dominated the best WWE social media content of the week.

The former sold the world on his monstrous client's talents; the latter finally earned his rightful spot in the Hall of Fame. Those two all-time greats inspired Instagram shots, tweets and viral videos aplenty.

A new Superstar-centered video game sneaked into the list of most shareable WWE-related offerings, but it was Heyman's mouth and Savage's legacy that monopolized the week.

Heyman kicked things off by taking on Kurt Angle on Twitter.

On Monday's Raw, Brock Lesnar's manager bragged about The Beast Incarnate's title wins. He claimed that no one had two of Lesnar's three major accomplishments: an NCAA title, the WWE Championship and a UFC heavyweight crown.

Angle was listening and was inclined to disagree. Heyman soon responded, closing his case emphatically:

Before Heyman stepped out into the spotlight, he stood in the darkness, deep in thought. Even backstage, he displayed his mastery of body language.

He held Lesnar's leather-and-gold strap as if it was the most valuable prize on the Earth. WWE posted a shot of him on Instagram in mid-embrace of the World Heavyweight Championship:

Heyman will soon get the enviable view of Lesnar's next clash. When the champ takes on Seth Rollins and John Cena at the Royal Rumble, his advocate will be at ringside, watching his power from up close.

That's a view Heyman has had for years. Throughout much of Lesnar's career, Heyman was right there, in awe of the monster under his control.

WWE compiled 10 of Lesnar's most impressive feats of strength in its latest countdown video:

The Rock and Triple H are among the victims showcased in those clips. Those larger-than-life figures join Lesnar, Roman Reigns and others in WWE Immortals, a new mobile video game.

Whether it ends up being a popular diversion or not, it has already caught many folks' attention. The superhero renditions of the Superstars are fascinating.

WWE showed some of them off in a trailer for the game that is quickly gathering views:

When discussing the industry's stars whose legacies make them immortal, one has to include The Macho Man. That's thanks to his stellar ring work, electric personality and influence on those who followed him.

After years of Savage being one of the biggest omissions in the WWE Hall of Fame, he's finally going in.

Michael Cole and the announce team delivered the news on Monday's Raw. Celebrations and congratulations soon came rolling in.

WWE shared a shot on Instagram that welcomed the memorable star to the Hall, and fans have paid tribute to him in the comment section:

The Iron Sheik shared his thoughts on Twitter, saluting the late star:

Hulk Hogan, the man who will induct Savage later this year, wrote a powerful message of his own:

It was WWE's production team, though, who did Savage's career the most justice. A tremendous tribute video honors Savage's Hall of Fame career:

Yes, it took too long. Yes, it's unfortunate that this didn't happen while Savage was still alive.

Still, seeing Hogan usher his former rival and tag team partner into the Hall of Fame is going to be a welcome, moving sight.
