After missing 16 games in a row with an abdomen injury, Shabazz Muhammad returned on Monday against the Atlanta Hawks. He would score 18 points and grab eight rebounds in 24 minutes of action.
Muhammad Could Return Before All-Star Break

The struggling Minnesota Timberwolves will be without one of their top scorers, as second-year star Shabazz Muhammad will sit out with an abdominal injury.
According to the team's PR staff on Twitter, Muhammad was being held out with abdominal soreness:
Muhammad was starting to emerge as a strong offensive player in his second season. The former UCLA standout is averaging 13.7 points per game and shooting 48.8 percent from the floor. Minnesota is a young, rebuilding franchise, so he is proving to be a big part of what the future could look like.
