Shaw Starting vs. West Brom
Saturday, May 9
Manchester United's official Twitter feed reported that Shaw would start against Crystal Palace.
Manager Louis van Gaal noted on May 1 that a groin problem would keep the Englishman out against West Brom, per United's official Twitter account:
The boss provided quick comment to MUTV, per Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News, saying, "Shaw has trouble with his groin so he cannot play."

Since moving to the Red Devils, Shaw has been made to wait on any consistent form after seeing numerous injury setbacks. He has made 15 appearances, per Soccerway.
As the Daily Telegraph reported at the beginning of January, Shaw's previous injury in the 2-0 FA Cup win over Yeovil Town saw the club's 2014-15 injury count rise well into the 50s:
Shaw's first season with United hasn't been the blossoming development he might have hoped for since making the £30 million switch, with this latest stumbling block preventing the teenager from advancing further.
