Cam Newton Won't Face Charges for Car Crash

The initial investigation into the car crash that sent Carolina Panthers star Cam Newton to the hospital found the quarterback at no fault. As a result, he won't face any charges in connection with the incident.

He also provided further detail about how the crash occurred:

Newton escaped with only relatively minor injuries after the scary collision on Tuesday, per ESPN.com. He's dealing with two transverse fractures in his lower back but no further internal injuries. His playing status for the remaining portion of the season is undetermined.
