Andrew Luck Already Closing in on 1,000 Career Completions
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck needs just five completions in Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns to reach 1,000 completions for his career.
While 152 different quarterbacks have already reached the milestone, Luck stands out for the speed at which he will get there, with Sunday's game marking his 45th regular-season appearance in the NFL.
Marc Bulger is the only player to hit the mark in 45 games, and ESPN.com indicates nobody has ever reached 1,000 completions in 44 or fewer games or fewer.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Luck missed out on his chance to grab sole possession of the record, as he needed just 24 completions to get there heading into Sunday's eventual 49-27 win over the Washington Redskins. The third-year signal-caller was a victim of his own efficiency, completing 19 of his 27 pass attempts for 370 yards and five touchdowns in the blowout victory.
He averaged a career-best 13.7 yards per attempt in one of his finest performances to date, topping 10 yards per attempt for the first time ever.
It was just the 53rd occurrence of a quarterback recording 13 or more yards per attempt on 25 or more pass attempts, and the only one so far this season.
Luck should find the upcoming matchup quite a bit more challenging, as the Cleveland defense has surrendered a meager 6.5 yards per attempt this season, ranking fifth in the NFL.
