Ryan Mathews, Branden Oliver, Donald Brown's Post-Week 13 Fantasy Reaction
It’s hard to score 34 points in the NFL with a combined 64 team rushing yards, but the San Diego Chargers did just that in their 34-33 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13.
Fantasy owners were certainly not pleased with the overall production of Ryan Mathews, Branden Oliver and Donald Brown, although Mathews at least found the end zone. Here is a look at their final stats:
| Rushes | 13 | 1 | 0 |
| Rushing Yards | 38 | 7 | 0 |
| Rushing Touchdowns | 1 | 0 | 0 |
| Catches | 1 | 0 | 1 |
| Receiving Yards | 6 | 0 | 6 |
| Targets | 2 | 0 | 1 |
| Touchdown Catches | 0 | 0 | 0 |

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The first thing that jumps out about those stat lines is the one combined carry between Oliver and Brown. We knew their production would decrease when a healthy Mathews returned to the lineup, but that is a drastic drop-off in touches. The least Oliver and Brown owners could ask for is a balanced running-back-by-committee situation, but that was not the case Sunday.

It is incredibly difficult to trust either moving forward, even in deep fantasy leagues, with that few of touches.
At least Mathews received 13 carries and found the end zone. He impressed Ricky Henne of Chargers.com along the way:
While Mathews has talent and scored the past two weeks, he is a health risk, which is a fantasy nightmare at running back. Sunday was only his fifth game of the season, and he would be much easier to trust as a part of your lineup if he was consistently healthy.
