Philip Rivers, Antonio Gates, Keenan Allen's Post-Week 13 Fantasy Reaction
Is Keenan Allen back?
That was probably the question on more than a few minds Sunday after Allen scored two touchdowns, his third and fourth in his past five games. Allen, who had just six or more fantasy points once in the first nine weeks of the season, has now reached the mark in three straight games following San Diego's Week 10 bye.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Is Allen once again a weekly starter like he was in his excellent rookie season? No, not even close. But is he back in the running for your flex spot depending on the matchup? Absolutely.
Philip Rivers was trending in the opposite direction. Coming into Sunday he had just 21 total fantasy points in his last three games Rivers and was finding the going tough against Baltimore, though he led a late-game comeback that saved his fantasy value.

Still, keep in mind that Rivers regressed down the stretch last year as well, so there is some precedent for a late-season slump.
That means several of his receiving targets could slump as well. While Gates came into Sunday with just six fantasy points in his last three games, he had a nice afternoon going against Baltimore. Like most tight ends outside of the elite tier, his production fluctuates from week to week, but he still should be a consideration for your starting lineup each week.
Hit me up on Twitter—I'll answer your fantasy questions and make some corny jokes, too. It's more fun than being Richard Sherman when the San Francisco 49ers come to town.
