Robert Griffin III, DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon Post-Week 12 Fantasy Reaction
Remember that time a writer on this very website said that everything would be fine in Washington? That Robert Griffin III would still be an elite fantasy quarterback by season's end. That DeSean Jackson was bound to break free for another long bomb someday.
Well, I'm sure that writer is a super-intelligent, fun, amazing person, but let's hope you didn't heed his advice. The Washington offense died for the second straight week on Sunday, scoring a lone touchdown in a 17-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Griffin managed only 106 yards passing, completing 11 of his 19 attempts. For what feels like the eleventy billionth straight game, Griffin was brought down by five sacks. He's also continued heeding the desire for him to be a "pocket" passer by running only four times for 11 yards.

The result obviously trickled down to the Washington pass-catchers, who turned in disheartening performances. Jackson led the way with two receptions for 39 yards, while Pierre Garcon had 34 yards on his three grabs.
I'm not sure what to say here. It's not even guaranteed that Griffin will have this job much longer. Jay Gruden hasn't exactly been glowing in his comments about Griffin publicly, even outright telling NFL.com's Albert Breer that Colt McCoy is "pushing" Griffin.

| Pierre Garcon | 3 | 34 | 11.3 | 0 | 4 |
Until that's settled, it's hard to trust anyone related to the Washington passing game. That locker room appears to have less enthusiasm than a DMV. It's possible Griffin ascends past the criticism and begins approaching his 2012 form, but it appears he's wilting instead. With Griffin not performing, Garcon and Jackson are left to shrug their shoulders as another errant pass misses the target.
Nothing about this team is encouraging. Keep that in mind when making your fantasy lineup decisions.
