Cowboys vs. Giants: TV Info, Spread, Injury Updates, Game Time and More
In an effort to keep pace in the NFC East and complete the season sweep of the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys will look to bowl over their rivals on the Week 12 edition of Sunday Night Football.
Tony Romo and the Cowboys enter off a week of rest that came after dismantling the Jacksonville Jaguars overseas. Despite a 7-3 record, the surprisingly balanced Cowboys are tied for first place in the division with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The season is a wash for Eli Manning and his 3-7 Giants, owners of a five-game skid that most recently saw the struggling signal-caller throw exactly half as many interceptions as his team's 10 points in a loss to San Francisco.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Week 7 was a 31-21 win for the home team in Dallas between these rivals, although Sunday night's main event figures to be just as competitive as the Giants get healthy and have nothing to lose.
Stopping the Unstoppable

Dallas trots to New York on the back of a serious MVP contender in running back DeMarco Murray, who has rushed for a minimum of 100 yards in nine of his team's 10 games this season.
Murray's week-to-week numbers are worth a closer look:
| vs. SF | 22 | 118 | 5.4 | 15 | 1 |
| at TEN | 29 | 167 | 5.8 | 22 | 1 |
| at STL | 24 | 100 | 4.2 | 44 | 1 |
| vs. NO | 24 | 149 | 6.2 | 28 | 2 |
| vs. HOU | 31 | 136 | 4.4 | 17 | 0 |
| at SEA | 29 | 115 | 4.0 | 25 | 1 |
| vs. NYG | 28 | 128 | 4.6 | 21 | 1 |
| vs. WAS | 19 | 141 | 7.4 | 51 | 0 |
| vs. ARI | 19 | 79 | 4.2 | 17 | 0 |
| at JAC | 19 | 100 | 5.3 | 23 | 0 |
Feel free to dial in on Week 7, when Murray torched the Giants for 128 yards and a score. That is but a small microcosm of the team's season as a whole, as the New York defense ranks dead last against the rush, allowing 145.0 yards per game on average.
In theory, healthy or not, Romo does not appear as if he will need to do much Sunday night.
Talk about horrible timing, too. The concern for Murray has always been about his health, considering over the course of the three previous seasons he had never appeared in more than 14 games in a single season.
According to coach Jason Garrett, though, there is little concern about this, especially coming out of a bye, as captured by Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram:
It all adds up to a rocky situation for the Giants at home.
If Murray is allowed to have his way once again, the New York offense will not see meaningful time on the field. That being said, things have not exactly been great for that particular unit as of late, either.
Rediscovering the Fire

One year removed from leading the league in interceptions, Manning looked on course to avoid coming anywhere near that honor this season entering last weekend. Through his first nine games, he had tossed just six interceptions.
He then threw five picks last week in a 16-10 loss to San Francisco. The entire line wound up 22-of-45 for 280 yards with a touchdown and five interceptions on a 48.9 completion percentage.
Despite the horrific showing, Manning is still confident in his level of play, as he told Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News:
Manning is not the only person to blame, though. The offense around him has been in dire straits. Victor Cruz was lost for the season. Back Rashad Jennings has been in and out of the lineup with issues and last week rushed for just 59 yards on a 3.3 yard-per-carry average.
If things are going to turn around for the Giants, they will have to climb the steep hill that is the Dallas defense.
It sounds strange to say considering the Cowboys have been mired in mediocrity on that side of the football for so long. But the Cowboys rank 14th against the pass and 13th against the rush, perhaps most notably this season limiting Drew Brees to just two touchdown passes in a 38-17 win over the New Orleans Saints.
Manning knows all about the Cowboys regardless, though, hence his trio of touchdowns in the Week 7 meeting. That is a red flag, though. Even if he and the offense fire on all cylinders, it may once again not be enough to overcome a struggling defense.

Prediction

With Romo healthy and in the lineup it is hard to see how this showdown on prime time ends well for the Giants.
Romo has to do very little with the defense so focused on Murray. The secondary also has nobody who can run with Dez Bryant, who grabbed nine receptions for 151 yards last time he danced with New York's defensive backs.
Manning is at the point of the season when he overcompensates for issues around him and makes mistakes. Offensive fireworks will be had Sunday night, but perhaps the biggest lesson on a global scale will be the revelation that the Cowboys have a good defense and are a serious contender this season.
Prediction: Cowboys 36, Giants 20
