Riddick Provides Lions with Dangerous Pass-Catcher Out of the Backfield
The former Notre Dame star has broken out for the Lions as a reliable third-down back. He's taken on even more responsibility throughout this season, though, with Ameer Abdullah on injured reserve and Dwayne Washington dealing with an injury.
Riddick has rushed for 171 yards and a touchdown while adding 26 receptions for 190 yards coming out of the backfield. He's shown intelligence in the open field and has become a favorite of quarterback Matthew Stafford, continuing a trend that began in 2014.
