WWE NXT Big Board: Updated Prospect Rankings and Analysis for Nov. 14
There is an electricity crackling throughout WWE NXT right now thanks to talents like Sasha Banks, Sami Zayn and Finn Balor.
It's hard not to get excited thinking about a future where all three of those prospects are full-time members of the main roster, battling on Raw and SmackDown every week. In the race to get to those spots, the top wrestlers provided more evidence of their excellence on Thursday's NXT.
Lower on the rankings, Wesley Blake and Alexa Bliss had good days at the office as well. They are both trending upward.

The following is a look at both the top male and female NXT talents, ranking their readiness for the main roster and how much they would positively impact WWE after a call-up. Size, in-ring skills, mic work, look and presence all factor into the composition of the list.
Only prospects who have debuted on TV are considered. So no Kevin Steen, Solomon Crowe or Chad Gable just yet.

Prospects just outside the top 20: Wesley Blake, Marcus Louis, Mojo Rawley
Finn Balor
WWE is wisely letting Balor be essentially who he was when he wrestled as Prince Devitt. Fans may have feared that the company would dilute what he has built over the years, but in his first in-ring performance, they saw much of what they did from him in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
It remains to be seen if he'll be allowed to do his body-painting gimmick as well.
Going up against Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel, Balor and Itami put on a show. Balor's offense was stunning; his quickness was dizzying.
A Pele kick stands out as one of his most impressive moves from this bout. Fans of his work in Japan know that he has a lot more weapons like that in his holster. Hopefully, we see the majority of them make their way to the NXT ring.
Balor jumps past Breeze, even with less polished mic skills, based on both his physical gifts and his presence. The Irishman is a handsome, charming guy who will be easy to market.
Wesley Blake Just Outside the Top 20
Blake's tag team partner edges him in terms of "it" factor and is a touch better in the ring. Still, Blake is closing in on joining Buddy Murphy on this list.
Against Sin Cara and Kalisto, he showed himself to be athletic and aggressive. There were a few awkward moments, including him seemingly waiting around for his opponent to hit him with a crossbody, but overall his performance was solid.
He contributed to an enjoyable tag team match. The Lucha Dragons hit most of the thrilling moves. It takes skill in order to work on the receiving end of that high-flying style, and Blake did well there.

His chemistry with Murphy gets better each time out, their duo likely to be one WWE continues to showcase.
Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville Extend Their Lead
Zayn and Neville capped off Thursday's NXT with another excellent match.
They are both the two most dependable performers at Full Sail University right now. Other prospects are working out kinks and getting adjusted, while Zayn and Neville continue to show that they are plenty ready for the main roster.
Their in-ring storytelling skills are first-rate.
Fans saw that once more when Zayn looked to complete his road to redemption with a title win. His championship opportunity saw the champion deliver unforgiving forearm shots, both men look to show each other up and mutual respect begin to erode.
Zayn's face after getting hoodwinked by a supposedly injured Neville was a beautiful example of the power of body language.
Disappointment, embarrassment and anger all radiated from him. Being able to emote like that is why Zayn has been the top prospect for a long time.
He and Neville have the type of feud that WWE could present on the main roster for years to come.
The Divas
| Rank | Wrestler | Height | Notes |
| 1. | Sasha Banks | 5'5'' | Polish, thriving with current gimmick, top-level in-ring skills, just below Charlotte in terms of mic work |
| 2. | Charlotte | 5'10'' | Natural magnetism, becoming a ring general, great presence in the ring |
| 3. | Bayley | 5'6'' | Increasingly popular, charismatic, works her gimmick extremely well, above-average in the ring |
| 4. | Becky Lynch | 5'6'' | Athletic, skilled in the ring, gimmick has been all over the place |
| 5. | Alexa Bliss | 5'1'' | Improving in the ring, athletic, fun energy |
Alexa Bliss Honing Her Ring Work
Bliss just slides past Carmella for the No. 5 spot. While Carmella has a more eye-catching presence right now, she's still unrefined in the ring.
A newcomer to the wrestling world herself, Bliss has clearly been working on her craft.
In a match against the class of the NXT Divas division, Sasha Banks, Bliss showed flashes of athletic prowess. Her ring work overall was crisper and more confident than we have seen in the past. Her biggest highlight came when she flipped over Banks and hit a slick powerbomb counter.
The more we see her pull off moves like that, the higher she'll climb in the rankings.
You have to also give her credit for toughing out a good chunk of the match with blood oozing from her nose. The blow that busted her nose open didn't affect the flow of the match; Bliss made sure the show went on.
When Banks and Charlotte inevitably get called up to the main roster, there's going to be a mad scramble for the thrones they vacate. Bliss has a shot to hop into one of those, although the competition she faces even with those women gone will be stiff.
