Ambrose made it clear that he doesn't feel threatened by the "Eater of Worlds."
After Wyatt's interference during Ambrose's match with Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell last month, it seemed pretty clear that the two were on a crash course for Survivor Series. That became even more obvious after Ambrose called out Wyatt on the Oct. 27 Raw.
They should deliver a physical, entertaining match. Neither wrestler is a technical specialist, but each one has had his fair share of good-to-great singles matches. Plus, Wyatt's more methodical style should clash well with Ambrose's unpredictable lunacy.
As WWE Games' Marcus Stephenson pointed out, this could be a preview of what's to come in the WWE main event over the coming years:
It will be interesting to see which direction WWE goes with this feud. Ambrose is so hot right now that a loss to Wyatt might stunt some of his momentum.
However, Wyatt's in desperate need of something big to happen. Ever since his rivalry with John Cena, Wyatt's been stuck in neutral. A win over Chris Jericho at SummerSlam helped to bring back some of Wyatt's mystique, yet he's largely just floating around in the ether of WWE programming.
At the very least, this is a relatively fresh feud that could help either Ambrose or Wyatt continue to climb the ladder up into the main event picture on a regular basis.
