C.J. Anderson, Ronnie Hillman, Juwan Thompson's Post-Week 10 Fantasy Reaction
One month ago when Montee Ball went down with a serious groin injury, we were made to believe the Denver Broncos were going to implement a "hot-hand" approach in the backfield. On Sunday, that forecast finally came to fruition, as someone not named Ronnie Hillman got the hot hand.
That someone would be C.J. Anderson, who scored on a fantastic 51-yard catch-and-run and racked up well over 100 total yards against the Oakland Raiders Sunday. Ronnie Hillman, meanwhile, received just eight touches, and Juwan Thompson was absent from the game plan until garbage time.
Take a look at the final stats:

After essentially running through the entire Oakland defense on his long touchdown, Anderson drew praise from Cian Fahey and ESPN's Cecil Lammey:
"CJ Anderson is so much better than Hillman.

Alright. So, here's what we know about the Denver backfield: nothing.
This situation is a mess for fantasy purposes, and it's looking like it's going to be extremely difficult to predict usage on a week-to-week basis. Pro Football Focus' Mike Clay summed it up perfectly:
Still, considering the valuable role in a highly potent offense, Hillman, Anderson and Ball all must be owned.
Hillman is more of a change-of-pace back, while Anderson and Ball are better served at handling the between-the-tackle work. We're simply going to have to wait until next week to see the rotation with Ball likely active, but everyone should be stashed.
