Alex Rodriguez Reportedly Urinated on Cousin's House to 'Mark His Territory'

Mike ChiariNov 6, 2014

Alex Rodriguez has been the subject of steroid allegations for the past several years, but a new accusation may make him look even worse in the public eye.

According to Christian Red, Michael O'Keeffe, Teri Thompson and Nathaniel Vinton of the New York Daily News, Carmen Sucart—the wife of Rodriguez's cousin Yuri Sucart—alleges that the New York Yankees slugger urinated in her house.

"He peed on the floor. He was so arrogant, he came into my house like he thought he was a god," Carmen Sucart said.

The Daily News story was later updated to remove that quote, though a similar quote remains, perhaps to clarify what she meant:

"

He was arrogant. You know what he did? He peed outside on my wall, next to the pool. He didn’t ask for the bathroom. He go outside and he just pee right there. He came over, took his thing out and went right there.

"

The floor-peeing allegation remains in a photo caption. She told the Daily News she believes Rodriguez's alleged actions were the result of him wanting to "mark his territory."

NEW YORK, NY - SEPTEMBER 25: Alex Rodriguez #13 of the New York Yankees reacts after striking out in the fifth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium on September 25, 2013 in the Bronx borough of New York City. Rays defeated the Yankees 8-3.

The 39-year-old third baseman was recently reinstated by MLB after serving a 162-game suspension during the 2014 season for his involvement with performance-enhancing drugs.

Per O'Keeffe, Red and Thompson, Rodriguez alleges that Yuri Sucart extorted him out of nearly $1 million in exchange for silence regarding the Biogenesis scandal.

Carmen Sucart has disputed that claim, and had some choice words for the Yankees star as well.

"I want you to put this in the paper. Alex is so poor, the only thing he has is money," she said. "He sleeps with his money, he will die with his money. He is the devil. He is evil."

All signs point toward Rodriguez resuming his MLB career as a Yankee in 2015, but the negative publicity continues to mount.

A-Rod was once the toast of baseball and considered a model athlete, but it is clear that his image has now been damaged beyond repair.
