Wide receiver Andre Johnson has been a big part of the Houston Texans' return to prominence this season, but he may be forced to miss some time due to injury.

Johnson was later ruled out for the game, via Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com:
With Johnson on the shelf, DeAndre Hopkins will shoulder more responsibility as the Texans' go-to guy. It can be argued that Hopkins is already Johnson's equal, but there is no question that having an All-Pro receiver across from him has lessened his development curve significantly.
Johnson draws so much defensive attention on a regular basis that he opens things up for every other offensive skill player. Even if he doesn't always put up monster numbers, his importance can't be overstated.
The Texans still have enough firepower on offense in the form of Arian Foster and Hopkins to get by over the short term, and their defense is certainly capable of taking games over.
From a pass-catching perspective, tight end Garrett Graham and receivers Damaris Johnson and Keshawn Martin should see additional targets in Johnson's absence.
While nobody can replace everything that Johnson brings to the table, the increased workload for the rest of the receiving corps could be a great thing for the Texans when Johnson does ultimately return.
