Breaking News: JP Sets Deadline For Halladay Trade For July 28

Okay normally I try to keep things political and reasonable but the only thing I can say is WHAT THE HELL IS JP THINKING. He’s setting a deadline for a Halladay trade? I actually have nothing to say regarding this. I mean why make a franchise changing deal when you are going to the playoffs? Oh Toronto isn’t going to the playoffs? Well at least Halladay will agree to an extension right? Oh he has informed the team he will leave next year? Hmm at least we’ll be able to get a decent return on a trade. Oh JP has publicly stated that a trade is ‘unlikely’

Get this idiotic man a suicide pill I’m tired of his in decision and know-it-all attitude. Get me one of those up and coming GM’s that rely on statistical analysis and know how to develop a farm system that produces long term results ( I know what he’s done but seriously I feel he’s been more lucky than good, plus top scout for the Jays has been making the picks for the most part).

The jays will never have the money of the Yankees, and Boston unless there is a salary cap and given the current state of the game that is very unlikely so if you have to raid Florida’s management staff, I would love to see what Larry Benifest could do with 90 million dollars to run a franchise sheesh. I’m fed up there was NO reason for this.

Clearly the offers haven’t been rolling in because of the demands. If I find that there was a better trade available 16 months from now, I’m giving him a piece of my mind at FANFEST and renouncing my allegiance to the Jays boycotting the team until they fire this sorry excuse for a GM\President.
