Game of the Week: Baltimore Ravens at Indianapolis Colts
Football fans won't want to miss several matchups on Sunday, but the game with the most potential is the Baltimore Ravens traveling to Indianapolis to play the Colts.
With both teams putting up big numbers in Week 4 (Indianapolis scored 41, and Baltimore scored 38), the potential offensive explosiveness on display Sunday should satisfy every football fan. Led by quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Joe Flacco, this matchup has shootout written all over it.

The Ravens are coming off a blowout win over the Carolina Panthers. Emotions were high in Week 4 as wide receiver Steve Smith went up against his old team, but the franchise showed composure and managed to dominate its foes in every facet of the game. After losing in Week 1, Baltimore is now 3-1 on the season and looks to be a legitimate AFC contender.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun about the tough upcoming schedule and the challenges of playing a team like Indianapolis on the road:
"It's the end of the first quarter, we are 3-1 but now we start a new phase, a new series so to speak. Three of these [next] four games are going to be on the road in very tough environments so we have our work cut out for us.
The challenge is you have to go play another team in their environment. That takes an incredible amount of discipline and poise. The more disciplined and poised you are, the more able you are to execute and tune out the noise. That's what we've got to do.
"
The next several weeks are tough for the Ravens, but Kevin Bowen of Colts.com shared just how difficult Indianapolis’ schedule is as well:
Beating Baltimore could be even more difficult than anticipated, though, as Clifton Brown of Comcast SportsNet shared the news that Colts will be missing hard-hitting safety LaRon Landry:
While the loss of Landry is a devastating blow to the defense, Indianapolis has the offensive firepower to outscore almost any team in the NFL. Not only have the Colts scored a combined 85 points over the last two weeks, but Luck has also continued to emerge as an elite star, throwing for 393 yards and four touchdowns on Sunday against Tennessee.
Not to be outdone, Flacco threw for 327 yards and three touchdowns in Week 4 and leaned heavily on Smith as his main target. With Luck utilizing his own veteran pass-catcher in Reggie Wayne, the battle of the 35-year-old receivers could be the biggest highlight of Sunday’s matchup.
This potential shootout should be the most entertaining game of the week.
Predicted Final Score: Indianapolis 33, Baltimore 27
