Reggie Bush's Updated Fantasy Outlook After Joique Bell's Injury
We knew the New York Jets had the league's best run defense coming into Sunday. And we also knew they had a dreadful secondary and struggled in the passing game. So it was never a stretch to project that both Joique Bell and Reggie Bush might struggle in this contest.
And boy, did they each struggle.

But the timeshare in Detroit's backfield could become a one-man show, as Bell had to leave the contest with a head injury, per Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com:
The real test this season for fantasy owners is figuring out which player is more valuable. In the first two weeks it was Bell, who tallied 18 fantasy points in that time. But Bush surged back last week with 15 fantasy points. And this week, well, neither one seemed like a great choice.
Going forward, if Bell misses any time, Bush becomes a borderline RB1 given his explosiveness and the Lions dangerous offensive attack.

If Bell doesn't miss any time, however, it's clear given the fairly equal usage and production this season that both players belong in the low-end RB2 or flex conversation on a weekly basis. And yes, there will be some weeks when one of these players—or even both—simply don't produce. Such is the plight of players on a team with an abundance of offensive weapons.
This is almost an exact 50/50 timeshare, so these players have a fairly equivalent value in fantasy at this point. Trying to predict which player will make the bigger impact on a weekly basis when they are both healthy is going to cause its fair share of stress for fantasy owners. If Bell's injury is a long-term one, however, Bush becomes as safe a fantasy starter as you'll get at running back.
