National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell is facing a lot of scrutiny after an elevator video showing Ray Rice's domestic-violence incident was released by TMZ last week (warning: video contains graphic content).

Now there is a Photoshopped ad for CoverGirl—the "official beauty sponsor of the NFL"—going around the Internet that promotes a boycott of Goodell and the company. By boycotting CoverGirl, fans would be putting pressure on the company to end its relationship with the league until the commissioner is gone. Losing a sponsor would cost the NFL money, which would make the league consider getting rid of Goodell.
CoverGirl, via USA Today's For the Win's Nina Mandell, has issued a statement on the situation:
"As a brand that has always supported women and stood for female empowerment, COVERGIRL believes domestic violence is completely unacceptable. We developed our NFL program to celebrate the more than 80 million female football fans. In light of recent events, we have encouraged the NFL to take swift action on their path forward to address the issue of domestic violence.
