Andre Johnson, DeAndre Hopkins' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 2
Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins played crucial roles on the Houston Texans offense in Week 1 against the Washington Redskins. However, the team's Week 2 game plan against the Oakland Raiders revolved mostly around Arian Foster and the running game, leaving the duo of wide receivers with little chance to rack up big fantasy points.
Still, they delivered.
Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick only attempted 19 passes. He did complete 14 of them for a total of 139 yards and two touchdowns. While his production was limited, it was still easy to see the value that Johnson and Hopkins bring to the offense.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Johnson was targeted a team-high seven times, recording six receptions for 74 yards. He is clearly Fitzpatrick's go-to guy and is still a very reliable fantasy starter—no matter his weekly matchup.
After collecting his sixth reception of the game, Johnson moved up in the NFL history books, via NewsFix:
As for Hopkins, he was still awarded five targets—good enough for second on the team behind Johnson—and came away with three receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. This is the second consecutive week he's found the end zone, which bodes well for his fantasy outlook going forward.
CBS Fantasy Football noted the significance of Hopkins' second reception:
Hopkins is the No. 2 target on Houston's roster, and he should be considered a WR2 for fantasy owners as well as his role continues to evolve.
