Alfred Morris' Updated Fantasy Outlook After Robert Griffin III's Injury
In many ways, Robert Griffin III's injury—and the possibility that he'll miss a significant amount of time—shouldn't really hurt the other skill-position players on Washington's offense. Kirk Cousins is a solid backup, after all, and the running game was always going to be an emphasis.
In other words, fantasy owners of Alfred Morris shouldn't be fretting just yet. The bruising runner should continue to produce.
Washington fans might want to get used to the notion of Griffin remaining sidelined for some time, however, after he left the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with an ankle injury, per the team's official Twitter account:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
You could make the argument that Morris might suffer without the read-option threat being present in the playbook, but Washington was always unlikely to feature the play extensively given Griffin's injury history.
Remember, in the five games that Cousins appeared in last season, Morris rushed for 372 yards and two touchdowns. And with Cousins in the game on Sunday, Morris finished with 85 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Bleacher Report's Matt Miller liked what he was seeing from Morris, at least from a fantasy perspective:
If anything, Washington might lean even more heavily on the rushing game with RG3 out. Don't hesitate to keep him in those lineups no matter what Griffin's injury status ends up being.
