The Atlanta Braves: Hurry Up Frank Wren!
As we all know, this season the Braves' momentum has shifted like a pendulum. They have followed up their season best five game winning streak with two straight losses to the Washington Nationals.
For a while now, I have waited for Frank Wren to try and make to deal to land some power hitting outfielder like Jermaine Dye, Brad Hawpe, or Nelson Cruz. I'm still waiting. I have to admit he did a good job at landing Nate McLouth, but other than that he's done nothing.
If I were Wren, I would hurry up and keep giving offers for those three men up there, or I would call up Jason Heyward, the promising outfield prospect. They need someone to replace the disappointing Jeff Francoeur this year. I think the only success Francoeur will ever have is going to come outside of Atlanta.
