ON RED CAPS

If you watch too much TV, surf too many media outlets, and generally let the media excite you every day of your life, there's no question you would get excited for Independence Day Weekend festivities! Red caps all across baseball was one thing to see! However, I think the widespread use of the red caps pretty much ruined the special uniforms that the Jays donned on Canada Day. Maybe I'm selfish, but I thought those red caps symbolized Canada, not America! After all, the Caps are Red and White, the colours of Canada, and while those are also the United States' colours, someone forgot to mention the colour navy blue also plays a huge part when it comes to identifying the United States. Perhaps Major League Baseball had to respect the one lone Canadian team...and for that, Canadians should be proud. I still want one of those Red Jerseys.

THE SITE HAS UNDERGONE CHANGES

Just like how people don't always use traditional fooseballs to play fooseball (can you believe I played with round wine cork fooseballs last night), blogs also undergo overhauls. If the blog's look was nothing more than standard in the past, it's now a corked fooseball. For those of you who are frequent visitors, maybe you've noticed that the blog has a new LOGO saluting John McDonald! If you haven't noticed, scroll the hell up! Tell me something I don't know, because I already know that I suck at art. Also, we have new sparkling e-mail addresses you can contact us at on the right hand upper side of your screen! Also, the Blue Jays Blogosphere list has been updated with a couple more Blue Jay Sites- Mop Up Duty and T.O. Sports- the Toronto Sports Magazine. Last but not least, we are now located at www.jmcabinet.com- which I believe legitimizes our existence as a blog and also is much easier to remember and type into your internet browser of choice!
