Pat White Or Vince Young: Why No Respect For Their Talent?
Both Vince Young and Pat White are products of the spread offense in college. Many underestimate Pat White's talent as a QB. And now Vince Young"s talent also. Both are amazing QB's at the next level, especially with many teams addition of the wildcat offense, which a Similar QB, Michael Vick is yet to experience... Young's, White's, and Vick's playing style are very similar, and everyone thought Vick was as great of a QB as anyone, with his athletic ability, escape capability, scrambling ability, strong arm, good accuracy, and potential to run better than a lot of running backs in the NFL.
But since he has been jailed, and Vince Young labled as a so called "Bust", people think any quaterback similar to those two could only be used as a WR, Wildcat Qb, PR/KR,etc.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I think that Vince Young is a good QB with only one bad year at which he hardly played, which was not entirely his fault. Pat White can be a good QB, but due to him being around 200 lbs. and 6'1, and working from the spread offense, people think of him as a "WR, Wildcat Qb, PR/KR,etc." Scouts ignore the stats and records Pat White holds at West Virginia, and NFL teams ignore Vince Young's talent at the next level.
That being said, my argument is why are Pat White and Vince Young not getting the same respect at QB as a player like Michael Vick did when he played? Michael Vicks size is also a little similar to Pat's at 6'0 214... and Vince is bigger and playes the same style at 6'5 233. IMO I think if given the chance Pat White and Vince Young can be as good if not better then Vick. But I wouldn't be able to tell you who is better between them.
But if I had to choose who would be on my team, I would go with Pat White—tell me what you think!
