OVER 10 Toronto/Philadelphia:
Game 2 of this 3 game set today in Toronto features a pair of lefties who have yet to reach their potential. Toronto is 4-0 so far this year against the defending World Champs. The Phillies send J.A Happ (4-0, 3.47) to the mound this afternoon. Happ was called into the rotation when Brett Myers went down, and he’s done a decent job. However, his bad starts have been pretty awful. He’s allowed 11 runs in his last 16 innings pitched and it appears that hitters are catching up to him.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Bradley Mills makes his second career start for the Jays. The young lefty is looked upon as a future star, however his first ML start against these Phillies on June 18 was terrible. Mills was staked to a nice lead but gave up 6 hits and 4 runs in just 3 2/3 innings, while walking 4. Toronto rallied back late to spare him of a loss, but he was beyond unimpressive. One start doesn’t say much, but it certainly wasn’t a positive sign.
OVER 9 St Louis/Minnesota:
Another past World Series rematch here, as the 1987 participants go head to head in St Louis. Minnesota took game one 3-1 last night behind a gem of a performance from Glen Perkins.
Expect much of the same today from Twins ace Kevin Slowey (10-2, 4.04). Slowey has been terrific all season, and has the Twins right there in contention in the AL Central, a few games behind the Tigers. Slowey was brilliant in last outing, allowing 1 run in 6 innings in a win over Houston.
