A KC Chiefs-Dallas Texans All Time Fantasy Team
This is my opinion on a Dallas Texans, K.C. Chiefs all-time fantasy team. Starters at the beginning, back-ups in parentheses, and draft choices that went elsewhere in brackets. Reasonable minds may differ.

If I had to draft in order, I'd select Ed Budde first. He was the only offensive linemen in the history of the AFL to be named offensive player of the week. I'd pick Len Dawson second. Then fill out the offensive and defensive lines. Then linebackers. Then defensive backfield. Then complete the offense.
Hank Stram put his best players on special teams. I suppose there is some rationale for not doing that today, but I'd do that on a fantasy team. Bobby Bell ran a kickoff back for a touchdown (onside kick) because the best players played special teams.
Yup, during the AFL-NFL war the Texans drafted Meredith and Lilly and the Chiefs drafted Sayers, Staubach, and Wilbur. What might have been.
