OVER 9 Cleveland/Pittsburgh:
Big football rivalry between these two cities, but not much Baseball history, at least not yet. Should be a competitive game tonight and we expect both teams to put some runs on the board. Cleveland sends rookie Left Hander David Huff (2-2, 7.09) to the mound, while the Buccos counter with Righty Ian Snell (2-7, 5.08). Both pitchers have not pitched up to expecatations this season, in fact, Snell has been one of the bigger disappointments in the league. Huff’s last few outings have been ok, yet unspectacular. He’s allowed 13 earned runs in his last 22 innings pitched. Snell has allowed 12 runs in his last 25 innings, decent considering the way he started 2009, which was awful. Expect a lot of action tonight at PNC Park between these two teams.

Atlanta -115 over New York Yankees:
Rookie phenom Tommy Hanson (2-0, 4.08) takes to the hill tonight for Atlanta on a roll. He pitched the best game of his short Major League career last time out, going 6 scoreless innings against the Reds. Atlanta expects Hanson to be the next in line amongst the brilliant pitchers they’ve produced over the past 20 years. Chien Ming-Wang on the other hand, has suffered through an absolute nightmare of a season for the Yankees. He’s 0-5 with a 12.30 ERA while allowing 51 hits in just 26 innings pitched. It’s almost impossible to be that bad and still have a rotation spot, but he’s actually showing some signs of improvement, believe it or not. His 3 runs in 5 innings performance last time out was his best of the season thus far.
