In Which Competition Do Arsenal Have the Best Chance of Winning a Trohpy?
Arsenal have now gone a disappointing four seasons without securing any silverware to add to their dusty trophy cabinet. Thankfully, Arsene Wenger has reassured fans that 2009-2010 will be the end of Arsenal's trophy drought. If this is true, then in which competition do Arsenal have the best chance of securing a trophy?
English Premier League
The last time Arsenal tasted the sweet satisfaction of EPL success was in the historic 2003-2004 season, when Wenger and Arsenal did not lose one match in their EPL campaign.

However, that squad had the likes of Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires, and Freddie Ljungberg. But Arsenal has worked on this bunch of boys for a while, and to be honest, this season the North London outfit looks quite threatening.
In order to have any chance of retaining the English Premier League crown, Arsenal must maintain consistency and make sure they don't drop any points in games that they should easily win. That factor was extremely evident during 2007-2008. Arsenal also have to not drop points early on in the season, which would mean they are playing catch-up for the remainder of 2009-2010.
League Cup
No doubt Wenger will use the League Cup as a chance to give his teenagers some vital experience. Last year Wenger's babies looked like a world-class side for the opening two clashes, but come quarterfinal time, the baby Gunners snapped under pressure.
This season Wenger has an impressive batch brewing. With the likes of Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin, Aaron Ramsey, Sanchez Watt, and Henri Lansbury all likely to be the main forces behind the League Cup, Arsenal do have a strong chance of winning their first-ever League Cup title under Wenger.
FA Cup
Wenger will be eager to put the tragedy of last season's FA Cup semifinal loss to Chelsea behind him and finally win the FA Cup in 2009-2010. If Arsenal do triumph in the FA Cup, it will be the Gunners' first in years.
Wenger will use a few of his teenagers but will be concentrating more on the experienced men to carry this mission out.
Champions League
There's always a different feel about Arsenal when they go out mid-week for their Champions League clashes. Arsenal play at a different level when against the European clubs, and I believe after last year's dreadful end to the Champions League, Arsenal will want to conquer Europe more then ever.
The Champions League is a trophy Arsenal have never won, and I feel this could be their year.
Of course, they will have to face qualifying, as they finished fourth in the EPL, but even if they do come up against a side like Juventus, I expect Arsenal to deal with them easily.
So which competition do Arsenal have the best chance of winning a trophy in? Is it the EPL, or the League Cup, or maybe the FA or Champions League? Or will the Gunners dominate in 2009-2010 and win them all?
