Prediction

After a shaky opening match against Egypt, Brazil have not looked back whatsoever since. Their 3-0 win over fellow footballing heavyweights Italy on Sunday night displayed just how dominant the Brazilians have been for much of the tournament, with their attacking and defensive players both on show.

South Africa have put in a spirited tournament performance to qualify for this semi-final against the imposing Brazil side. Unfortunately for the hosts, this match will be something of David vs Goliath meeting, with 67 places in the FIFA World Rankings separating 5th placed Brazil and 72nd placed South Africa.

Still, with the crowd firmly behind them, the South Africa team will want to go down fighting and put in a performance worthy of their semi-final qualification. Unfortunately for them, the Brazilians are in superb form and will be looking for plenty more goals en route to the final.
