Brandon Marshall Joining the Flock Of Ravens?
Let's look at Marshall's possible destinations.
The Chicago Bears would obviously make sense because he could reunite with quarterback Jay Cutler. There is no doubt in my mind that they could contend in the NFC with the weak division they play in and the already proven defense they have in Chicago.
Washington maybe? Who knows? The Redskins are a franchise that is interested in everybody. If there is a "big name" on the table, owner Dan Snyder won't pass on it without taking a glance. Maybe Marshall could get Jason Campbell over the hump. We all know the amount of pressure Campbell and Coach Jim Zorn will be facing this year.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
We can't rule out the "Big Apple." Eli Manning has already lost a huge target in Plaxico Burress, but should New York take a shot on another trouble maker? Marshall could without a doubt get the Giants back to the status they were once at in their Super Bowl year. However, Head Coach Tom Coughlin isn't too big on players who may tarnish a team's chemistry.
The team that makes the most sense in my opinion is the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens came up one win short of appearing in their second Super Bowl in franchise history. Who was in their way? The team with the number one defense in football, the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers.
Acquiring wide receiver Brandon Marshall would put the Ravens in a great position to contend for a championship this season. Marshall can spread the field and make big plays against opposing defenses.
He would be another big target for second year quarterback Joe Flacco to go along with Mason, Heap, and Clayton. Defenses would have loads of trouble trying to stop an offense as dynamic as this one could ultimately become.
The one thing every Raven fan wants is a win over the much-hated Steelers and obviously a Super Bowl ring. Trading a couple of draft picks for Marshall would be a huge step in fulfilling every Raven fan's wish.
However, Brandon Marshall has been in trouble with the law many times over the past couple of years. Since 2004, he has been arrested five times.
The arrests range from assault to DUI to disorderly conduct. Ravens fans aren't new to players with criminal problems. They can refer to Jamal Lewis for that one.
The question is, are the Ravens willing to take a risk? They have always been weak at the receiver position. And here they are again with a big play wide-out staring straight into the eye of the Raven.
The Ravens were one gigantic offensive play away from a Super Bowl appearance this past season. This is their opportunity to get where they want to be.
We already know the defense will be in the top 10 again this year. With an offense in the top 10, the Ravens will be an unstoppable force.
Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome needs to pull the trigger on this one.
Trade for Brandon Marshall.
Win the division.
Win the Super Bowl.
Then when it's all said and done, it will be Baltimore's turn to shove it down the throat of Pittsburgh.
