UNDER 9 Colorado/LA Angels:
Rockies righty Aaron Cook (6-3, 4.23) really has turned his season around after a terrible April. His ERa was well over 10 runs before a mechanical flaw was found. Since then, he’s been on top of his game nearly every time out. He’s 3-0 in his last 3 starts, allowing just 5 runs in 18 innings. We expect him to keep it going tonight in what should be a low scoring game. Angels rookie Matt Palmer (6-0, 4.13) has really done a great job filling a few voids in the Angels rotation this season. John Lackey, Ervin Santana, and Kelvim Escobar have all been injured, and of course the tragic death of Nick Adenhart really rocked the team. We don’t expect him to be perfect throughout the season, but if he keeps pitching like he has, the Angels will be very satisifed.
