Vince: Please Stop Insulting Our Intelligence!

Hello everyone. As always, thank you for spending a few moments with me.

Last night after I put my son to bed. I decided to crack open a couple of cold ones and watch a little WWE on demand. Those of you who don’t have that channel I highly recommend it.

I was watching a few matches and it made me remember some of the outlandish story lines that they fed us. After strolling down memory lane a bit though, I couldn’t help think that Vince must think we aren’t too bright.

Lets take a look at some of the garbage Vince has fed us over the years shall we.

Does any one remember Katy Vick? Well in case you don’t let me refresh your memory. Katy Vick was supposedly Kane’s old girl friend that he killed in a car accident while drunk.

During this fun little segment not only did they imply that Kane was a murderer. They also showed us that it is okay to have sex with a corpse.

I am not a PC guy at all but even I found this skit to be tasteless and offensive. The last I heard killing someone while drunk behind the wheel isn’t very funny at all.

Lets move on though shall we?

We all remember Trish Stratus as a great women’s champion for the most part. I also recall a few other memories of Trish that are a lot less flattering.

I remember Vince’s wonderful story on how he cheated on his wife who was drugged up and in a wheel chair. During this time we learned that Vince was a "genetic jackhammer."

I could only imagine what he was implying by that! Vince was also having an affair with Trish at the time.

I wonder how many women he offended during this little plot? They had Trish degrade herself to the point of no return.

At the end of this wonderful little tale, they had Trish bark like a dog on all fours in the middle in the ring. If that wasn’t bad enough they covered her in fecies.

These are just a few of the many off the wall and offensive angles the WWE has given us over the years.

These days the story lines are much more tamed. It doesn’t mean though they are any less stupid.

I find it an insult to wrestling fans intelligence when they try to spoon-feed us this garbage.

 Like I am supposed to believe that HHH can break into Orton's house and assault him with out receiving a day of jail time.

Also can we stop with these ultra lane gimmick matches? Who in their right minds could ever buy into a "bury your opponent alive" match. It’s just insane how stupid the WWE must think we are.

While we are at it can we add casket matches, stretcher matches, hog pen matches and ambulance matches to that list.

It’s bad enough that people insult pro wrestling because it’s fake. I can live with that because it is fake, and it shouldn’t be treated as a sport.

 When you add to the mix these retarded angles and matches though, it makes me have to agree with them a lot of the times.

I love pro wrestling, and I will most likely always will. I just don’t like being treated like a moron though.

All I can say is thank god for the invention of the DVR.

 At least I can just fast forward through the garbage story lines, and pay attention to what’s important the actual wrestling match
