How Madden Football Can Help You Achieve Fantasy Glory

  I know what you are thinking, "How can a video game help me in fantasy football?". Believe that it will work it has for me 2 years in a row now. When I first came up with this idea, I had a rough streak in my fantasy life. I had lost the last 3 years and hadn't made the playoffs either of those years. I had to come up with a new strategy, and then a light bulb.

  Ok, so this is how I used Madden to help me out with my fantasy teams. The day before you are about to go for your fantasy draft, get the most updated rosters that you can via the Internet for your madden game. Once this is done go to Season mode. After you do this, you simulate the entire season. Turn of trades but leave everything else on. Simulate the whole season. Not the Playoffs but just the season. After you do this, take a look at the stats for the season. If you look at the top ten in every position, you will find at least 2 players who's names could be considered "sleepers".

  Here's and example for you. Last year I did this and Matt Forte and Calvin Johnson led the league in rushing for the simulated season. Matt Forte was one of the top running backs last year considering I picked him in the last round. Calvin Johnson was no big surprise as I'm sure a lot of people had him slated to be the top guy in Detroit. Well its not that hard to be the top guy in Detroit but that's a different story all together. If that's not convincing enough, here are 2 other guys. Roddy White of Atlanta led the league with 1800 yards in my simulation and was a stud all year. Michael Turner led the game in touchdowns, and was another solid pick last year.

  Try this one time with a free league this year, and see if it works for you like it has for me. Its been right 2 years in a row so this third time is the charm. If this works and you play in my league, don't use my strategy against me.
