UNDER 7.5 LAA/San Fran:
Tim Lincecum (6-1, 2.66) will look ot cool off the suddenly red hot LA Angels this afternoon in the fnale of this three game rematch of the 2002 World Series. Lincecum, the defending NL Cy Young winner has been downright nasty once again this season for the second place Giants. Rookie Matt Palmer will be on the mound for the Angels, looking for the sweep. Palmer has been up and down, looking great one night, and like a rookie just 5 days later. We think he’ll pitch well today, but he’ll have to be great to match Lincecum, who gives a great effort nearly every outing.

Seattle +115 over San Diego:
On the heels of last night’s shutout by Felix Hernandez, the M’s go for two in a row in San Diego. Lefty Garrett Olson (1-1 4.26) takes the mound tonight looking for his second straight win. He beat his former team, the Orioles last out and seeks to remain in the Mariners rotation. Tonight’s opponent, Chad Gaudin (2-5, 6.16) also looks to stay in the rotation, but for different reasons. He was so awful last time out, giving up 10 hits and 8 runs in three innings, that he’s likely to lose his job if he doesn’t pick it up soon. Seattle is having a really nice season under first year manager Don Wakamatsu, and is in the thick of the AL West race. San Diego is playing for the future as the Dodgers have begun to run away with it in the National League West.
