In his only appearance against the Tigers on July 2, 2006, Snell gave up four runs and seven hits in five innings of a 9-8 loss. On the other side Detroit counters with rookie Rick Porcello (6-4, 3.98), who looks to break out of his little funk. Lucky for him PIT is very average at the plate and he has dominating nasty stuff.
