Can We Please Get a Legitimate Heavyweight Champion?

Hello everyone. As always, I would like to thank you for spending a few minutes with me.

Well I watched extreme rules last night, and to say I was disappointed would be a large understatement.

I don't want to get into all of what bothered me last night at the PPV.

I mainly want to talk again about  both major titles changing hands.This seems to be occurring way to much these days.

I have no problems with the wrestlers them selves that are now champs.The problem I have is the way WWE continues to cheapen the titles.

Lets look at a couple of things for a moment.

You have Randy Orton and Edge, possibly the most talented overall wrestlers on both rosters.

They drops the the belts after only having them a couple months.I guess I was foolish enough to think they would build up the current champs.

Fear not though all you Orton fans and Edge heads. I'm sure next month they will be champs again.

I wonder if they just decide who the next champ will be by flipping a coin in the back .

How am I or anyone else supposed to take any champ as the real deal. When they wont let them hold the belt for more than a couple months.

I guess hot swapping the belts will make the impatient fans happy.

In the long run though, all hot swapping the title does is cheapen its value and legitimacy.

I am not asking  for a year long title run.I realize that would be asking for to much these days.

Can we at least have a champ, any champ for that matter hold the belt between 3 and 6 months. 

I don't want top hear about Edge being a 9 time champ, or Hardy a 2 time champ, or Batista being a 5 time champ.

Those numbers mean nothing when it comes to validating how good of a champ someone was.

What people remember is who they successfully defend the belt against, and how well they carried the company as champ.

Here is a little news flash for everyone out their.That can not be done when every other month someone else is the champ.

This has been a on going problem since the late 90s, and its a problem that is only getting worse.

I don't know if the WWE wonders or cares for that matter why their stock slips every other month.

Their house show attendance is down, gee I wonder why when your billing a new champ every month.

The talent is their to build up a good  feuds and programs.  

All the WWE  has to do is get their heads strait and do what is right for the business.

I guess for now I will just have to settle for good wrestling.At least the WWE still gives us that for the most part.

For now though, I don't consider any of the current champs as they real deal.

How can I ?
