Young Phoenix Coyotes Fan Wails out 'Free Bird' Air Guitar Solo
You have two options when Lynyrd Skynyrd's “Free Bird” plays at a sporting event.
You can sit there like a chump and ignore the hot, electric bliss pouring over your eardrums—or you can whip out your Fender Aircaster and commune to this sonic baptism like a hip-twisting god of rock.
A young Phoenix Coyotes fan chose the latter path—a path of valor—and for that we can never fully express our gratitude.

Could Pittsburgh Trade for Nurse? 🤔
The glorious occasion was spotted Matt Clapp of NextImpulseSports.com, and it involved a young fan scorching gobs of ozone at Thursday night’s game between the Phoenix Coyotes and Buffalo Sabres.
According to @GoldAndOrSmith, the child in question was rocking out to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s magnum opus and had zero cares in the world while doing so.

That’s a young man with a keen ear and an even sharper sense of showmanship. He didn’t just sit there and pick out the notes like a technical bore—he dominated the moment.
Some men wilt under the spotlight. This kid soaked in it. This is a grade schooler rocking at near-Led Zeppelin levels. If Justin Bieber can get paid millions to lip sync his way through life, this kid’s air guitar simulation should be enough to warrant at least a single record deal.
Unfortunately for our young hero, his Coyotes gave up an early lead and went on to lose to the Sabres 3-2.
It’s alright, young rocker—you still have your moves and your guitar, and that much they can never take away from you.
Stay a free bird, little guy.
